Ever been feeling really good about something only to
accidentally eavesdrop on some folks and find that no one but you feels the
same way about something?
You’re all happy and giddy, even, as you prepare to share
and you want the others to share your excitement. Then you find out you’re the
clown.
You’ve only been tolerated as an amusement. Something to
fill the gaps. Never was any respect. The backstabbing leaves great rents down
your back that didn’t hurt until you noticed them.
The tears trickle down your face. Tears of a Clown.
